Bolero uses a standard-based AES67-IP network with decentral antennae. The antennae are connected to AES67 switches and to Artist frames equipped with AES67 client cards.  Thus a fully integrated point-to-point roaming intercom ecosystem is created. The Bolero high-clarity voice codec provides better voice intelligibility together with a more efficient utilisation of the HF-spectrum. 

The beltpack has six keys for six intercom channels (point-to-point connections) and one reply key in order to be able to reply to the last caller directly. It supports Bluetooth 4.1, so either a Bluetooth headset or a Smartphone can be connected to it. In the latter case, the beltpack may be used like a hands-free system. Furthermore, it is possible to feed calls directly into the intercom channels.
